Mission

King's Park International Church is a Christ-centered, multi-cultural, Bible-based church with a heart to model Christian community to our surrounding cities and the world by making disciples, training leaders, and planting churches.

Our Values

Values describe what a family considers important, what its priorities are, and what it deems essential. At King's Park, there are certain biblical truths that we emphasize to such a degree that we call them our values. These are the things that are important to us, that we care about, and that shape the culture of our local church. The following six values are deeply woven into the fabric of who we are and what we do.

1. Lordship

We value obedience to God and His Word.

Because Jesus is "King of Kings and Lord of Lords" we believe that whole-hearted submission to God's will and his Word is the starting point of the Christian faith and the foundation of all spiritual growth. (Colossians 2:6)

2. Evangelism

We value reaching lost people.

Because Jesus came to seek and save the lost, we seek to build churches primarily through evangelism and creative outreaches. (Luke 19:10, I Timothy 1:15)

3. Discipleship

We value spiritual growth.

Because we are called to make disciples, our primary focus is on ministering to people rather than administering programs so that each person can be conformed to the image of Christ. (Matthew 28:19,20, Romans 8:29)

4. Leadership Development

We value homegrown leaders.

Because we are called to develop spiritual leaders, we emphasize leadership training and deliberately create opportunities for potential leaders to mature in their gifts and talents. (2 Timothy 2:2)

5. Family

We value long-term relationships.

Because the family is central to God's will and the foundation for all ministry, we refuse to sacrifice our marriages and our children on the altars of temporal success. Because we believe God has called us to be a spiritual family, we reject the notion of disposable relationships and choose to walk in lifelong covenant, love, respect and unity. (Psalm 127:1,3)

6. Reformation & Revitalization

We value societal influence.

Because God's kingdom is called to advance in every sphere of life, it is our mission to equip believers to work alongside our Lord in His purposes in every vocation. Because God has called us to be a city set on a hill, we actively seek to bring restoration to our cities and communities according to biblical principles. (Matthew 5:13)
