Why Campus Harvest? by Charles Kiefer

March 24th, 2009 by KPIC Admin

Every year as winter becomes spring, King’s Park hosts the Campus Harvest student conference. As a community of Christian believers, we are committed to high school and college students.

Missionaries have long emphasized the “10/40 window,” the latitude lines on the earth that contain the most unreached people groups.  Some, however, have suggested an even more important demographic may be the “13/30 window,” the age demographic in which people are often most open to the gospel.

Jamaica Mission: Accomplished

March 20th, 2009 by KPIC Admin

Isaiah 42:12: Let them give glory to the LORD and proclaim his praise in the islands.

King’s Park mission to Kingston, Jamaica was a success! Rollan Fisher, King’s Park Youth Pastor and Mission Leader, reported 200 solid ministry relationships and contacts built, seeing a staggering 45 of those relationships already make a decision for Christ.

March Members Meeting by Eric Syfrett

March 4th, 2009 by KPIC Admin

What a great member’s meeting this past Sunday! If you weren’t able to join us, here are a few of the notes:

Pastor Taylor highlighted two of the new initiatives we’re undertaking to better serve our guests and regular attenders. Our membership class, “Discover KPIC” is now offered on the 2nd Sunday of every month from 12-3p. Our Sunday Guest Reception re-located to the West Lobby to be more accessible to our guests. With additional changes on the horizon, we are encouraged by the positive responses we’ve seen so far.  Stay tuned for more updates to come.
