How We Get Things Done!

In case you haven’t noticed, KPIC is a rather large organization. Because of that, we have a lot of resources which work together to help make everything we do more successful. Unfortunately, coming in new to the church family or as a ministry leader, these resources may not be naturally understood and might even create some challenges.

Our goal as an Operations Team is to support, enhance, and push forward the ministry efforts of KPIC. Because of that, we’d like to take this opportunity to provide a quick overview to the systems & procedures we have established, so that hopefully you as an individual can be more successful in your effort to serve or lead at KPIC.

  1. FACILITIES – The next area of operations that impacts many individuals and leaders in our church is the use of our church facility. There is a multi-page document which outlines the important things to know for individuals leading an activity at KPIC, but for simplicity, we will explain a few key details here.
  2. TECHNICAL NEEDS – If your event is taking place at KPIC (or rarely, for outside events), you might desire to use technical equipment such as a TV, VCR, DVD player, CD player. Microphone, Projector, or other item. If your need is on a small scale, Mike will probably be able to provide the support to get you what you need. If not, he may need to involve our Technical Team, which is led by Bill Peddy, a member who also serves as our Tech Director. Between Mike & Bill, we will work to make sure your needs are met.
  3. COMMUNICATION – Many groups planning events at KPIC desire to have their event publicized through our website, bulletin, announcements, or other communications resources.  Click here for more information on how we manage these resources
  4. ACCOUNTING – From time to time, ministries will plan activities or events which require support of the KPIC Accounting Office.  If you need more information on this, click here.
  5. CHILDCARE – Unless your plan is for your target group to be only children or youth, parents are probably a part of your demographic. For this important group of people, you considering the needs of their children will be a significant blessing.  Click here for assistance in this area.
